Leaving Sixth Form.....

Sixth Form has been such a great time in my life. Probably the best - which is quite strange as most teenagers don't realise that until they are struggling to balance work, money and a family. But I know it has been great, but I couldn't wait to finish also.

Our Head had been nagging us all year, so we thought what way could we punish him.......him being Welsh, it didn't take long. We hired out a sheep and placed it in his office after covering it in grass. He wasn't too impressed, but he did see the funny side of it. He was more offended by the England flag hung up covering his door. I'm not sure who took the sheep home. It might still be there! What a surprise for the cleaners anyway.

We went out with the teachers last night, had a meal and everything. We were drunk before the bloody meal, my mate couldn't cut his beef. I won a few prises, 'biggest chip on his shoulder' and 'Mr. Perfect'. So it is quite obvious that I am a love/hate character. The night went so quickly, but I do remember my mate and I beating my Maths teacher and Head at table football. I'm not quite sure how, by that time we were too drunk to see the ball. We went into town after Amy gave an emotional speech on the previous two years. It made us all appreciate what the teachers had done for us, the things they did to cause us moan, panic and resent them was all going to pay off in the end.

Sometimes you really don't realise what you've got until you look back in hindsight. Lucky for me I realise what I have and love every minute of it. I have a beautiful girlfriend and friends that are never going to be replaced. But others will look back in a few years and smile, maybe cry, at what they had compared to the difficulties of living in the real world. For a students life is the best life, no matter how broke you are or bogged down in work you are, you always find time for the things and people you love most.
